Screen time up ... but not doomscrolling!!

What’s up! I’m dedicating my screentime to more productive apps, or apps that give me more creative inspiration. I’d love to recommend you Substack, dear friend, but that is how you are reading this.

Cosmos

The Gist: Like Pinterest, but more editorial. An imagery app to create ‘clusters’ for inspiration.

Features I love: No ads, Search by color, AI filtering, Captions generated to include image source, artists, location etc., Saving extension from other sites

Corner

The Gist: Recommendations app with your friends. As a girl who loves to keep my travel recs and guides in one place, this is a dream.

Features I love: App interface & tie to maps, Ability to make reservations through the app, Detailed reviews from users

Milanote

The Gist: Notes organization for creatives. Create “boards within boards” to organize images, notes, links, etc. through a variety of templates.

Features I love: My first “ah ha” with a notes/organizational app I’ve experienced, yes I’ve tried them all. Visually appealing, User friendly, Multiple template options.

Partiful

The Gist: Yes this one is known and loved by everyone, but I still want to highlight it. A social planning app to share invitations with friends.

Features I love: Ability to update invites in real time, RSVP tracking, Custom invitations that are actually fun and cute

The Gist: An app to review purchases, based on receipts of your own. AKA reliable lists and opinions. No more “wishlists” or “eligible for commission” recommendations.

Features I love: Connects to your email to import receipts in real time, Weekly collections and spotlights, Shopping data & ‘personality’ tailored to your purchases

The Gist: A collection of journals that can be used in a variety of ways - collaging, sketchbooks, notes. As a girl who has a journal for everything, this is the digital version.

Features I love: Custom cover pages, No complex “layers” for elements
